Welcome to the discussion board of DRASTC Forums. The purpose of this board is general discussion (which should be self-evident) - basically, talking about anything related to s-CRY-ed, including the manga, anime, novels, merchandise (including published doujinshi), character discussion, and whaever else you can think of. Fan works are the only thing that do not belong here; they get their own board (go back to the home page and you'll see). Beyond that, only a few rules:
1 - Keep content PG, i.e. suitable for the thirteen-year-olds that may drift over here with their mothers behind thair backs. More explicit fanworks are allowed, so long as they are marked, but do not belong on this board. As a rule of thumb - the series itself was suggested for agest 13-up, so if it wouldn't show up in the series canon, don't say it here.
2 - No flame wars, or for that matter, flames in general. Personal attacks on other member will not be tolerated.
Also, steer clear of malicious character-bashing. Saying you think Mujyou is a stupid jerk with issues because you think he is and can back it up is fine; saying Scheris should go jump off a cliff in order to upset the RyuMim fans is not. If you make the former statement, though, don't be surprised if someone argues back. Open and non-hurtful discussions/analysis of characters and pairings are fine and even welcomed.
I will make an exception to the above rule in cases where members who are friends are just teasing each other (this happened a lot on the old message board, and no one was really hurt by it, so I'm willing to allow it). The minute anyone is bothered, though, I will step in and ask any participating members to stop.
3 - By all means, feel free to post pictures or scans from the latest product you obtained, including published dojinshi, but realize any images posted are eligible to be borrowed for use on the DRASTIC website (i.e. the thing located at scryed.asukawashere.com). If you post scans of any licensed products in manga format, including the manga itself, we request that you block out the dialogue bubbles out of respect to the English-language distributor's rights. Scans in the original Japanese need not block the text, especially when someone's trying to request a translation or something.
4 - I can't think of anything specific to plug in as a fourth rule, but just keep it clean and be respectful, 'kay guys?
If you have any questions about the rules, feel free to ask hem here.
